And so we become 3 once more after Tess’s departure home. All a little quieter on the home front.
Our friends returned from their trip to collect her (happy and sad faces) and were kind enough to bring  gifts – which included some excellent cheese and wine from their travels – very much looking forward to sampling those! We have been lucky enough to see our first Orchids of this year – and they are tiny!

We today received some interest in our buttons from a Highland Tartan manufacturer – and maker of beautiful items – shawls, bags, cushions etc. naturally we think our buttons would look magnificent on their products… We shall send some samples and see! Very exciting!
We are taking more and more bookings for the B&B! This is also very exciting! We are told it’s a short season up here for Holiday makers so we have to make hay whilst the sunshines – and obviously work on the buttons to carry us through the Winter!

Tree pipits in the front garden today very sweet as well as 4 collared doves in our Rowan tree.
